Kings Cross had some LEGENDS
Its been a while..
Hey everyone.. Its been a while since I updated this shit, but I will say that I have been on my grind here in Australia. I am now in Manly Beach just outside of Sydney. Ryan and I stayed in Kings Cross, Sydney at a nice little hostle with bunk beds.
Monday night Ryan and I split a goon, and blacked out from there.. We woke up in the morning and Ryan said "dude.. I dont even want to check my wallet." I had no idea we went out, so I got filled in on the bar we went to. Supposbly i did the ol famous fill your beer when no ones looking out of the draught. Great. Just Great.
Tuesday night we kept it real and just didnt go out. We went to a "free bbq" at some sick club through the hostle.. We got there and got 2 free beer vouchers instead of a BBQ.. It was fun tho. We left after the beers because it was all too tempting to stay and drink.
Today Cotter arrived here in Sydney. We took the train to the "circular Quay" where the big bridge and opera house are.. We then took the ferry to Manly where we are now. We got put up in a private appartment acrosse from the hostle for 5 bucks more than we would have paid for a dorm room.. This is exactly why I love Manly BEACH! Tomorrow we are going to rent some boards and walk to the beach and surf all day. Living the dream

COOKING WITH LETTUCE: The late night Australian
Sloppy weekend all around haha
Saturday was the lacrosse game. We lost in the semi finals, and the playing career is over here in Australia. It was a great season with a great bunch of guys. After the game, some guys came back to the house and we drank a little bit but Ryan and Cotter's club had a beer pong tournament that we went to. It was a sick time, as I made it to the semi finals with this guy named wayne. He smelt a bit like he baked his car out with butts, but he was decievingly good at beerpong. I ended up playing with Ryan in the Championship and lost because cotter rolled his ankle while screwing around.
Sunday was an Early start at 8am, which could be the earliest Ive gotten up since we got here.. We started with some beers and sausages on the BBQ while people arrived here before the bus to the winearies. The bus left at 930 from the end of the street and the real fun began. We took an hour ride to the first wineary. The views were incredible as the wineary was up on a hill so we could enjoy the sun and weather. After the 1st wineary we went to a park to eat catered subway and as much cans of beer we needed.. so we crushed. We got back on the bus and went to a second wineary, it was packed so we decided to just go back to the first and enjoy the weather and live music while drinking at this 5 star wineary. We came back on the bus that dropped us back at the house where the after party started. and it went right into monday moring.
At about Monday morning at 4:30 AM until the aussie roommate DJ and our buddy and teammate Kim decided it was time to film "Cooking with Lettuce!" Kim suggested cooking it in a fire in a pan in the middle of the kitchen, but we decided to used the oven! After the halarious film session Kim says we HAVEEEE to edit it tonight.. so we kicked DJs girlfriend out of the room so we can edit. Kim was in fetal position sleeping in a matter of minutes. We edited the film without him.. heres the final!!!!!!!!

Weekend
Friday night we hung out with our roomate DJ.. He made us some raviolis and we watched this movie on "chopper".. who is some bad ass aussie dude. I got a good nights sleep for my big Saturday
Saturday I woke up at 8:30 to go coach the U13 team. The team lost but the kids are super young and "cha boy" with the jesus sandles didnt show up haha.. After the game I came back to the house and hung out until our first playoff game. We haven't been in the playoffs since 2004 so it was a big day. We won the game and everyone played a great game overall.. We have another week of practice and the next playoff game is Saturday. When returning back to the house, the whole team came back for some beers and to hang out. We all got pretty loaded and broke out the kereoke before hitting the city. The City was fun, as we were there from 12ish.. till about 5..
Sunday morning we (Ryan, Cotter, Mikes and I) were back here around 5.. where we hung out. I fell asleep at like 7am till about 3pm.. when I woke up to the Mikes and Jimmy (one of the roomates) and Kheim (a dude on my team) still up. We took a trip to Hungry Jacks with the Mikes in the back seat. When going into the HJs.. Mike Kehoe decided it was a good idea to let everyone know he was drunk and goes home tomorrow. hahahah.. Slapping the counter and yelling "I fucked up.. I FUCKED UP!" he was asked to leave before anyone but me got food.. So I took it to go. HAHAHA it was a great great scene tho.

Buh bye Brooke
Brooke gas just departed for get flight! It was the fastest two week ever, bit we had a good time.. It was a rough start to the trip as she had to get stitches, but he will always have an everlasting memory with the scar! We had a great time as she was here and it is crazy that our time is also coming to an end eventually.. Applied to my first job today in the states.. Safe trip to Brooke!!! Lucky beotch!

The weekend. PG
Friday was a long day in the hospital with Brooke and Cotter and Ryan. The mikes came over after work and we made some "shnitzal parmys".. Chicken parm with Ryans deep fryer, then started drinking the ol goon.. We got off to a late start so the mikes, Ryan, and I went out to the bar we took Brooke to in North Adelaide. It was a good time as there was a mixture of people at the bar. We talked to two 50 year old ladies that were "on the piss" haha cause they were absolutly shitfaced. hahah.. great entertainment and one of the old ladies bought a bottle of sparkling red wine cause I told her I never had it.. So I got to drink that for free hahahaha.. Mike Finnegan brought his dancing shoes out and was doing the classic air hump, and the old ladies couldnt get enough of that hahahah
Our walk home was hilarious, as we ding dong ditched just about every house on the walk.. One of the houses we stopped at and Kehoe did something out of the blue at.. it was absolutely absurd and hilarious.. picture coming to the wall of shame soon!! ------->
Saturday we all woke up at about 12ish.. had massive hangovers, but needed to get some food before our games. We went up the road and got the burger and lot.. Which is a burger, with an egg and onions on it. It was god damn delicious, although I ate it within 45 minutes of being on the field for my game. We lost the game due to a tough start, and I can deffinetly blame that on my piss poor showing. haha After the game all the guys went back to this dude in our clubs house.. got some great food and starting getting "on the piss".. After a while there we came back to the house. Ryan, cotter, and brooke were here and we all drank with the roomates here at the house.. It was a sick night as we kereoked at max volume singing the most obsurd sing along songs. (videos were recorded.. may be coming soon!!)
Sunday we all woke up at about 130ish because we stayed up so late. Ryan, cotter, Brooke and I all went to the movies and snuck into Bad teacher, then the new planet of the apes. After a great hungover day at the movies, we made some great food. The new cooking with lettuce is going to be
"cooking with lettuces friends" and itll be clips from this weekend.. Coming soon!!!

Epic day on the surf.
Today we woke up thinking we were going to have a wonderful day on the surf.. We stopped at Jimmy's place that he works and had a couple ice coffees and snacks.. We then stopped at a guy on Cotter and Ryans team and picked up a board and a couple wetsuits for Brooke and Ryan. Day was going solid as we had a good start on the day. We got to the "spot" and saw some pretty big waves. we were all pumped..
So Ryan and I jumped on our boards and were paddling out.. Waves were HUGE and we took about 25 minutes to get passed the breaking point. As we we drifted down the coast getting thrashed, Nueman was learning on the smaller white water waves.. (where Ryan and I should have been.. haha).. It was a good day so far, and Ryan and I caught a wave in to get out and walk back up to where cotter and Brooke were surfing.
As we got closer to Cotter and Brooke.. they were running out of the water. He gave us a wave.. like yooo come here.. hurry.. So were like yea yea yea.. were coming.. He gave another serious wave.. thats when I look at Ryan and said "yoo.. is something going on?" so we ran up and Brooke was holding her head crying.. Cotter looked worried as he was taking his wetsuit off in a hurry.. Took his under armour off and put it over her eyebrow.. He was showing her how to stand up and caught a wave.. as he jumped off the board flew towards her and hit her in the Eyebrow.. her face was bloody and her eyebrow opened right up.. We walked up to the car with the under amour pressured on her head..
Luckily "big mike" from the local ICU was driving by checking the surf. He pulled in and was the nicest guy. We fallowed him to his house where he gave here some sticky stitches until the emergency room.. We made it to the Emergency room in no time and it turned out being the quickest trip to the hospital ever. Two disolveable stitches under 6 other stitches later.. Brooke has her new battle wound.. luckily it was in the eyebrow and not an inch higher or lower.. Enjoy this pic.
